Official videoclip for 'We Are Very Happy', the title track of Huracán's forthcoming album, out September 30, 2022. It’s clear from the opening drum roll, which rapidly increases from mid-level volume to forceful urgency, that they are hungry to make a statement. Only seconds later, it also becomes apparent that this is not your typical deliberately paced post-metal offering. With its razor-sharp riffs, propulsive drumming, and psych-rooted vocals, their third release treads skillfully across substantial, rugged grounds rumbling with echoes that recall bands ranging from The Ocean to Pelican to Pallbearer. The artworks made in this video - which are numbered and signed by the artist Simon Barroo - will be available to purchase along with the physical record issued by dunk!records. BRUNO VANSINA QUINTET - ‘12/12’ // JazzLab tournee van 12.01 tot 04.02 Het was even afwachten, maar kijk, nu kunnen Bruno Vansina & co. toch afmaken waar ze in 2020 aan begonnen waren. In de voorstelling ’12 12′ woorden beeld en muziek ingenieus samengebracht. De band nam ooit 12 video’s op en trok daarvoor naar een reeks maffe locaties, van een velodroom naar een wassalon en een bowlingbaan. Dat beeldmateriaal vormt de voedingsbodem voor de concerten. Hoe gaat die muziek klinken? Je komt het te weten via deze concerten die gebruik maken van een origineel decor om beeld en muziek op elkaar te laten inwerken. Spannende jazz krijgt zo een extra spelelement in een van de leukste concertreeksen van het voorjaar.
